The faculty is always looking for student assistants! Take the opportunity to work in and on physics and quantum technology from the beginning of your studies.....
Become a student assistant at the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy.
The faculty offers you numerous and interesting jobs, such as:
- Supervision in the basic physics practical course
- Supervision in the basic physics practical course
- Supervision in the minor internship
- Supervision in the Astronomical Practical Course
- Supervision of exercise groups of experimental physics
- Supervision of exercise groups of theoretical physics
- Programming for software in the field of study and teaching
- Programming software for central services
- Design and construction of electronic circuits
- ....and much more !!
Important note: In order to register for an assistantship, it is absolutely necessary to log in to the faculty's websites beforehand. A considerable part of the form fields is filled in automatically. It is not possible to complete these fields by hand!
Please talk to the supervisor in advance about your interest in the activity and the number of hours.
The maximum number of hours is 86 hours per month.
Until December 31, 2023, the current compensation for student assistants without a bachelor's degree is €12.00/hour and for student assistants with a bachelor's degree is €13.00/hour.
As of 01/01/2024, the current compensation for student assistants without a bachelor's degree is €12.50/hour and for student assistants with a bachelor's degree is €13.50/hour.
Please note the following points:
There will be collective appointments to sign contracts for Student Assistants that start with the 2023/2024 winter semester.
These deadlines must be met, as the contract must be signed before the first day of work.
Anticipated signing dates are scheduled for:
- Wednesday 11.10.2023
- Friday 13.10.2023
You will receive the invitation to the appointment with the exact time and place by email from the personnel office of the faculty. Please make sure to attend one of these appointments.
In case of problems or ambiguities due to the combination of several contracts or contract changes (e.g. change from bachelor to master studies, change of address or postponement of the start of the contract, etc.) please contact personal@physhik.uni-wuerzburg.de
