Würzburg Seminar on Quantum Field Theory and Gravity

I'll introduce a method for calculating holographic duals of BCFTs with more than two boundaries, and then apply it to calculating the dynamics of entanglement entropy in a 1+1d CFT that is instantaneously split into multiple segments. The end goal of this research project is a better understanding of the multi-fragmentation process of heavy ion collisions, but the physics at play is applicable to any BCFT with multiple boundaries.
