Vacation Request
If you wish to apply for leave, please inform the Human Resources department using a leave form. Please submit the completed leave form with the original signature of you and your supervisor to the HR Department. You are welcome to put it in the mailbox of the HR Department (Ms. Popp/Mrs. Schneider) or in the mailbox in front of office B024.
We will report your leave to the flexitime office and provide you with information about your remaining leave or entitlement from the previous year, if you so wish.
Sick Note
If you are ill, please inform the HR department on the first day. An email (with your line manager in cc) is sufficient.
If you are ill for more than 3 days (please note that this includes weekends and public holidays), we need a sick note from your doctor. Currently, this is usually in electronic form, which means that you often do not receive a copy for your employer.
Please simply let us know by email from when and for how long you have been on sick leave, as well as the date of issue of the sick note. Please also let us know whether you have statutory or private health insurance. We also need to know whether you have received an electronic sick note or one in paper form. If you have received the sick note in paper form, we need the original.
Should you return to work, we kindly ask you to report back independently. All you need to do is send an email or call the HR department in person.
