Postdoctoral Position in Theoretical Particle Physics

The Institute for Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Würzburg invites applications for a postdoctoral position in theoretical particle physics to be filled in the fall of 2014. The initial appointment will be for two years with a possibility of an extension. The applicants should have experience in collider physics and/or higher-order perturbative calculations.
The theoretical particle physics group currently consists of 12 faculty members and postdocs and about 10 PhD and master students. The research focus is on particle phenomenology, in particular LHC-physics.
The group is part of the particle theory network funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the DFG Research Training Group 1147 Theoretical Astrophysics and Particle Physics.
