Title: Phenomenology of unusual top partners in Composite Higgs models
Abstract:
Composite Higgs models provide a promising solution to the naturalness problem of the Standard Model. Realistic models contain additional pseudo Nambu-Goldstone bosons besides the Higgs, as well as fermionic resonances. The top quark is a linear combination of an elementary state and some of these composite fermions, which are accordingly called top partners. We present a specific Composite Higgs model with a fermionic UV completion. We discuss its phenomenology, focusing on the color octet top partners, and show to which extent the parameter space is restricted by current LHC data.
