The surface of a three dimensional topological insulator hosts Dirac fermions whose Hamiltonian is described by a spin-orbit coupling term. The interaction between electrons and the magnetic moments of a proximitized ferromagnet can effectively induce an attractive two-electron interaction amongst the electrons after we integrate out the magnetic fuctuations. This attractive interaction creates Cooper instability and therefore the groundstate of the system becomes a superconducting state. Due to the special form of the effective interaction and the topologically non-trivial behavior of electrons as the result of spin-orbit coupling, unconventional pairings emerge in the system with non-trivial topological properties. In this talk first I will review the work done on the vortex spectrum of superconductors by other people in the past and then I will discuss our work which suggests a setup which allows us to observe intrinsic topological superconductivity with Majorana Fermions in the core of their vortices
