The Fall School will be held in the heart of Würzburg, a charming city taking pride in its cultural history and famous for its wines. The event locations are surrounded by the stunning Würzburg Residence, the market square and the river Main with a beautiful view on the Fortress Marienberg. In combination with a guided tour by a night watchman and a franconian dinner, the Fall School ToCoTronics 2018 will not only provide a platform to learn and discuss physics, but will also give you a feel for the local franconian culture and lifestyle.

The lectures of the Fall school will be given at the Burkardushaus, a conference center right behind the cathedral of Würzburg. Its location in the inner city makes it easily accessible via public transport by tram (stop: Dom) or by bus (bus stop: Mainfranken Theater or Residenzplatz).

The Poster session will be held at the historical Neubaukirche, the old university church from the 16th century, which can be reached by a short walk from the Burkardushaus (350m).
