Theoretical Elementary Particle Physics
Our research covers a wide range of open questions in elementary particle physics:
- Breaking of the electroweak symmetry
- Properties of the Higgs Boson
- Properties of electroweak gauge bosons
- Properties of top quarks
- Precision calculations for experiments at LHC, ILC and other colliders
- Supersymmetry and other extensions of the Standard Model
- Nature of the dark matter, that contributes five times as much mass to the universe than the matter known to us
- Baryon asymmetry of the Universe and, thus the explanation why we observe matter but not anti-matter in the universe
- Neutrino physics
- Automatization of theoretical calculations
