Flavour Identification of Reconstructed Hadronic Jets
Abstract
Hadronic jets are copiously produced at high-energy collider experiments. The identification of the momenta as well as other properties such as the “flavour” of these jets is crucial when identifying specific signal processes (and for suppressing background processes). In this talk I discuss the problem of associating charm/bottom flavour to hadronic jets in both the context of simplified theory calculations as well as in a more realistic experimental environment.
