Black hole simulations with AI

Numerical simulations of accepting black hole required large computational resources. Given the advance in AI we will test if Lagrangian based neural networks can replace our standard approaches for the radiative transfer calculations. Therefore, a data set consisting out of photon geodesics around black holes (see image) will be generated and used for the training of the Lagrangian neural network.
