The MeV Signature of Cold Dark Matter Annihilation

Use the full high-energy spectral energy distribution of secondary and tertiary photons, resulting from the interaction of charged dark matter (DM) annihilation products, together with prompt emission and compare this model to INTEGRAL/SPI and Fermi/LAT data:

Consider all observed Local Volume Galaxies as unbiased tracers of the DM distribution:

Construct the cosmic gamma-ray background and its angular power spectrum in the MeV range to explore the potential of the expected COSI data.
